Please help.... my boyfriend will not stop crying?

My bf and I have been dating for 3 years and living together for 2 years and I finally saw him cry. Its sort of my fault because I basically begged him to cry... I sort of jokingly called him an insensitive robot because he never cries, not even at his grandmothers funeral. So after nagging a little bit and calling him a heartless robot, we watched a movie titled Stepmom and he cried like a little baby, and he was loud. Now he just cries at the drop of a hat. He cries about everything, for instance i accidentally bumped my toes into the back of the couch and screamed out in pain and he asked me if I was ok but started crying before I could answer. How can i make him stop crying? Is this normal? because he's starting to scare me
