Teaching qualifications, what are my rights as a parent?

Surely he has to have a physics degree or a degree in one of the sciences? If you are concerned about his standard, then I'd approach the head. He may not tell you, but at least he will be aware of your concerns. Perhaps someone else has complained about him, so you really should tell him if he's bad.
