Anyone agree that the psn network is annoying?

jesus playstation needs to get their heads out of their arseholes. Seriously, I can't even view my profile information without typing in my pword? I can't get my pword because I must've typed in my date of birth wrong. I have my email and I'm logged into my PS3 and that isn't enough verification for this shameless bureaucracy? This isn't effing fort Knox! It's my PS3 that I payed for with my own money and I would appreciate it Sony if you would make the account somewhat practical to use.
