I CANT HEAR AS WELL!!!.......?

I NEED HELP, today i jumped into my pool several times and each time i kept getting water in my left ear, so i had to wobble my head around to get it out and everything was fine. Yet, after i took a shower i cleaned my ears out with q-tips and when i stuck it in my left ear and took it out i couldnt hear as well any more. I wiggled my head around to make sure i got all the water out, but i didnt feel any in there. So i then mixed some alcohol and hydrogen peroxide and dripped it into that ear (my cousin said this is what she use to do when she use to swim so she would get an ear infection) and nothing happened. I dont know what else to do, please respond as soon as possible.
