Do you think God judged Lots' wife too harshly?

I mean he said not to look back at the burning city..but I mean, c'mon if you were running away from a burning city wouldn't you be curious? Do you think that was too harsh? Btw I know why she SHOULDN'T have been looking back so dont tell me.
