Don't you think the term offender is too broad.... take this case for instance?

When I hear offender I think child molester or rapist. I am watching Montel and they have a man on that was 24 and had with a "woman" who lived by herself in his apartment complex. She told him she was 18 and they knew each other for 4 months before they slept together. Well it turns out she was only 15! This girl was living on her own in an apartment and conducting her life as if she was an adult. I ume all of my neighbors who live on their own are 18 and even more so if they actually said they were. How is it fair that this man who plead guilty knowing he did wrong even though he was tricked.... cannot live in the same home as his kids, has trouble obtaining employment, and has the local media publishing his name in the paper and labeling him as a offender. He is a offender... but most people are going to ume he is a child predator or rapist. Dont you think there should be another way we can discern who the serious child molesters and rapists are vs. the guy
