I make around 500,000 a month could I afford to up grade to the Amex Black card?

Once in a while my girlfriend drops 40,000 in one store alone on Rodeo. Plus we charter a jet to Miami quite a bit I think it would be a great way to pay for it. Always wanted one or should I just stick with the platinum card ?
