I totally agree with you. It's my favorite sound, so deep and soulful, it really moves me inside. Just be happy that you can show off your talent with less cellists to compete with. Regardless of the popularity of all the other string instruments, the cello will always stand out. You'll be great, like Yo Yo Ma.
